Daniel Roberts

Daniel Roberts, born 1969, in New York City. Playwright, Editor, Educator. B.A. (1992) and M.A. (1994) from the University of Pennsylvania. Edited the literary magazine Press from 1995-2000. Author of 2001 OOBR-award winning play The Beginning of the And, Last Day starring Heather Raffo, Frankie starring Kristina Klebe, Brando, and The Gold Standard starring Sabine Singh and Jordan Charney. Teaches at PS 101 in New York City. Founder of the Audax Theatre Group and publisher of The Hineni Writer's Workshop Review. A Democrat, Mr. Roberts is also a possible 2012 Congressional candidate for New York's 8th district, a seat held by Jerrold Nadler. According to the Audax Theatre Group, Mr. Roberts has written a new play entitled Monsterface which will be performed in 2008.
