[edit] About

Early Washington Territory lawyer Daniel Bigelow built this home to overlook Budd Inlet in South Puget Sound for his wife Ann Elizabeth White Bigelow. It remained in the Bigelow family until 1994. Today Bigelow House is one of the oldest wooden homes in Washington. The Bigelow House Preservation Association purchased the house and restored to its territorial appearance, naming it the Bigelow House Museum in 1995. The home is the centerpiece of the Bigelow Neighborhood, which includes many homes built by the Bigelow and White families.[2]
