Daniel Osorno Calvillo, (born March 16, 1979 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) Sometimes known as Dani Boy and is a Mexican football player. He is currently signed by Dorados de Sinaloa.

He made his debut on January 11, 1997 in a game against UAG Tecos. Osorno quickly became one of CF Atlas main goal producing players. For seven years Daniel was a symbolic player for Atlas. However, his form began to deteriorate after dealing with some injury problems. Osorno was loaned out to CF Monterey for a year in 2003. He made his return to CF Atlas in 2004, but didn't manage to return to his old form.
After the 2006-2007 season was concluded, Osorno made a declared his departure form CF Atlas, with CF Monterey and Santos Laguna showing interest in acquiring his services. On August 1, 2007 it was announced that Osorno had signed with American side Colorado Rapids. He played only 3 games with the team.
Osorno returns to Mexico asn is currently signed by Dorados de Sinaloa.

He was summoned for the U-20 Mexican National Team in 1999, this same year he made his debut with the Mexican National Football Team. He has played various tournaments with the Mexican team, and was part of the team who beat Brazil in the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup, but saw no playing time in that tournament. He was also part of the Mexican squad for the 2003 Gold Cup, where he scored the winning goal in the final match against Brazil. He also has a regional mexican music band called Banda Pura Caña de Daniel Osorno.
