Daniel Mullen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Daniel Mullen ran for leadership of Prince Edward Island Liberal Party in 1996 against Keith Milligan, Wayne Cheverie and Ian "Tex" MacDonald on a contrarian platform which highlighted voter unease with current government policies. The Liberals were the governing party of Prince Edward Island, Canada, at the time under the leadership of Catherine Callbeck, who resigned as leader of the party, and therefore as leader of the government in order to give the party a better chance to win re-election following a controversial wage roll-back for thousands of Public Sector employees in the province.
Mullen is reputed to be a polymath or variously, polyhistor, but appears indifferent to any classification.
