Daniel Matto (born Daniel Alberico Matto on December 2, 1978 in Adelaide, South Australia) is an Australian singer-songwriter of Italian descent.
Before making his North American debut in the summer of 2006 at the Atlantic Jazz Festival in Halifax, Canada, Matto performed throughout eastern Australia in clubs and festivals in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and in New Zealand. Notable appearances included the Norwood Food and Wine Festival in Adelaide, the Manly Jazz Festival (Sydney), and the Tarunga Jazz Festival in New Zealand.
In addition to his music, Matto occasionally lends his voice to film and narration. He also sang backing vocals for Alex Lloyd at his 2005 performance of Amazing at the Red Cross Gala for the Crown Prince and Princess of Denmark, Prince Frederick and Princess Mary.
Matto currently resides with his wife Kristy in Halifax, Nova Scotia and performs regularly throughout Eastern Canada and Australia.
