Daniel Kim (ice hockey)

Daniel Kenneth Michael Owen Kim (born June 22, 1989 in Laguna Beach, California) is a Canadian junior ice hockey goalie. He is currently playing for the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League. He is one of the few Korean ice hockey players in the league.
Kim was signed by the Owen Sound Attack in 2005 when he was signed to a pro amateur tryout contract by Owen Sound General Manager Mike Futa. Kim has played for two OHL teams, Owen Sound and Saginaw. Kim, who re-signed with Saginaw at the trade deadline this year, has five wins and one loss in seven preseason starts with the Owen Sound Attack and Saginaw Spirit.
Kim currently resides in Waterloo Ontario.
