[edit] Career
Jones is a product of Wolves' academy, and has been with the club since he was 10 years old, signing a professional contract in January 2005. [1]He made his debut for Wolves in a 2-0 defeat at Plymouth Argyle on 1 April 2006 and later made a string of appearances in the first half of the 2006-07 season but did not feature again in the New Year.[2]
In August 2007, he joined League One club, Northampton Town on loan until January 2008[3], where he became a regular first choice, and so had his loan extended until late January. He returned to his parent club after this spell but after managing just one substitute appearance for Wolves, he was allowed to return on loan to Sixfields in March 2008 until the end of the season.[4]
