Daniel J. McCarthy

Daniel J. McCarthy (b. May 4, 1977 in Harlan, IA) is a musician living in Omaha, NE. Dan plays and writes for McCarthy Trenching and Mayday[1]. He plays the piano, guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, concertina, and accordion. He has played with Bright Eyes, Orenda Fink, Maria Taylor, The Good Life (band), Mal Madrigal, Art in Manila, Neva Dinova, and Azure Ray. He was a member of the Short Timers.

Dan is a graduate of Creighton Preparatory School and Brown University.
