Daniel Harris (born May 10, 1982) is one of the consistent performers of the North Melbourne Kangaroos Football Club in the Australian Football League. He is young and athletic and plays the tough position of Ruck rover. He is often noted for his clearances where he is responsible from clearing the ball from closely contested groupings of players. He often also has a high tackle count because of his need to quell other opposition players clearing the ball.
He kicked a great goal in 2003 against the Essendon Bombers when he juggled the ball in his hands in a big grouping of players in the North Melbourne goal square, and, whilst being tackled by Daniel Lockney, threw the ball forward and kicked it over is head through the goals.
