Daniel Guggenheim Medal

The Daniel Guggenheim Medal is an American engineering award, established by Daniel and Harry Guggenheim.

Since 1929 it has been given annually for "contribution to the advancement of aeronautics". It is awarded jointly by the following engineering societies: American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Society of Automotive Engineers, and American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (which administers the award).
