Daniel Arnefjord (Born March 21, 1979) in Stockholm is regarded as a composed central defender who is good in the air and reads the game well. He was brought from Väsby United to AIK just in time for their return in the top-flight 2006, after one season in exile. After several seasons in the lower divisions he got his breakthrough. Although bitter moment in the late 2006 season was a mix-up in stoppage time between goalkeeper Daniel Örlund, which led to Arnefjord heading the ball into his one goal past the goalkeeper at home to Helsingborg. When the league was finished a two weeks later only one point separated winners IF Elfsborg with AIK.
