Daniel Andersson ['daːnijɛl 'ɑndɛ(r)ʃɔn] (born August 28, 1977 in Borgeby) is a Swedish football midfielder. He has played 59 international matches for the Sweden national team, and was a squad player for the Euro 2000, the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

He played for Bjärreds IF as a youngster, but joined Malmö FF in 1994. He gradually became a star in the Swedish league, and was bought by Italian Serie A outfit AS Bari. After three seasons he moved on and played in three other Italian clubs, with varying luck. He therefore returned to Malmö FF in 2004 together with former teammate Yksel Osmanovski.
