Daniel Robert Anderson (born March 3rd, 1986) is an American musician and one the founding members of the alternative rock band Idiot Pilot and the folk / alternative band The Ghost And The Grace. He is a multi-instrumentalist and provides vocals. [1] Anderson also contributes a track, without a moniker, to the Pacific Northwest electronic music compilation titled "Cumulous". [2]

Daniel was born in Bellingham, Washington.[3] He attended Sehome High School, where Idiot Pilot was eventually formed. Anderson commonly cites very diverse musical influences, ranging from post rock band Sigur Ros[4] to Huey Lewis & The News[5].
