The Dangpachang (당파창) is a three pronged spear from the Joseon dynasty, and has been used widely by its military throughout its history, until around 1905 when the joseon military was reformed drastically. It was replaced by the bolt action rifle.
The Dangpachang bears close resemblance to a trident, though it has the prong in the middle protruding out. Naturally, the protruding center prong would be used to attack the target.
