Dane Byers (born February 21, 1986 in Nipawin, Saskatchewan) is currently under contract with the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League. Dane played most of his junior league hockey with the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League and currently plays for the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
Dane's brother Cole Byers also plays professional hockey, spending the 2006–2007 season with the Hull Stingrays of the EIHL in the United Kingdom.
The brothers are also cousins of former NHL enforcer-turned-radio host Lyndon "LB" Byers.
