Dandy Sakano (ダンディ坂野) (born Kenichi Sakano (坂野賢一) in Kaga, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan on January 16, 1967) is a Japanese comedian and tarento, best known for his loud choice in clothing and his catchphrase of "Gets!"(ゲッツ!)

Sakano was originally a proprietor of a Ramen shop before he turned to comedy in 1996. He struggled in his new trade, needing to take a part-time job at McDonalds to support his life. Up until this point, his only real claim to fame was as a minor talent on a late night variety show called Shimbashi Music Hall. His big break came in 2003 when he was featured in a loan commercial in which he first used the "Gets!" catchphrase, and he quickly gained popularity from there on in.

In regards to the usage of the catchphrase, Sakano would say something very normal or straight to set a certain tone, and then break that mood with a semi-loud shout of "GETS" while doing a gun gesture with his fingers.

Sakano became a fixture on variety shows, commercials, and children's programs where he milked the gag for as long as he could. He also recorded songs about his catchphrase called "GETS da ze!" and "OH! Nice GETS!" and had a pizza named after his catchphrase by Japanese pizza chain Pizza-La.

After the novelty of Sakano's gimmick wore thin, his television appearances significantly decreased. His last projects were as a regular on an NHK melodrama called Mittsu no Tobira(3つのとびら), which ended in March 2006, and a minor cameo in the Toshiyuki Nishida fishing comedy movie series Tsuribaka Nisshi 17. He now goes from prefecture to prefecture in Japan doing local advertisements and comedy acts.
