Dandenong High School is a co educational government school in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It has a total student enrollment of approximately 2300, across all three campuses; Dandenong Campus, Cleeland Campus and Doveton Campus. These schools were recently announced as being three campuses of one school; Dandenong High School. This is a new project called the Dandenong Education Precinct Project. All three campuses will amalgamate, to form a super school with state of the art facilities, learning technology, etc. The state government has allowed $30 Million for this initiative. Stage 1 of the building has already begun at the Dandenong Campus site.

[edit] Dandenong Campus

The Dandenong Campus is situated in Dandenong, on the Princes Highway. The original campus prior to the merger, it was established in 1919 and as its colours adopted the red and two blues from the regimental colours of the 4th Light Horse, with which its first Headmaster, Mr P.C.W. Langford, had been associated during World War I. Dandenong High School is the oldest school, public or private, in Melbourne's outer east and now has 1350 students.

[edit] Cleeland Campus

The Cleeland Campus is also situated in Dandenong, on Ann Street. It was formerly called Cleeland Secondary College. It has a student enrollment of about 600. The school is multiculturally diverse. The new school will have several buildings on the Cleeland site; the rest will be demolished. In 2007, the school's year 12 students achieved well.

The Doveton Campus is situated in Doveton, on Box Street. It was formerly called Doveton Secondary College. It has a student enrollment of about 300. Doveton Campus offers many different VCE courses. This entire campus site will be demolished, and will combine Cleeland and Dandenong Campuses.
