- Week 1: This was the highest scoring week 1 with only a range of 10 points seperating the top score and the low score. Josie Maran had the highest lowest score in week 1. Sabrina & Mark were asked to do their Cha-Cha-Cha as the encore.
- Week 2: Jennie & Derek had the first fall in this season in their Quickstep where Jennie slid between Derek's legs and then Derek stepped on her dress causing them to goofily fall. Helio & Julianne did their Mambo as the encore. Jane Seymour did not participate in the results show because after the performance show ended she got the sad news that her mother died back in England. She flew to England the next day and had not been able to make the results show.
- Week 3: Strangely all of the women were ahead of the men with there only being a one point difference with all of them. Jennie & Derek performed their Tango as a sign of improvement and a comback from last week's fall.
- Week 4: Sabrina got the first perfect score of the competition as well as receiving a perfect score the earliset than any other season. Cameron and Edyta did the encore with their Superman inspired Paso Doble.
- Week 5: After Mel & Maks's shocking bottom 2 appearance, they received the highest score of the evening as well as performing the encore on the results show. Marie Osmond fainted during head judge Len Goodman's critique. After receiving her scores she had to stay in her trailor for air conditioning for the rest of the show.
- Week 6: After a hectic schedule and her lowest scores Sabrina Bryan was shockingly eliminated. It caused much drama to the show as she was one of the best dancers and considered by many as most likely to win. this brought judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who never gave her anything less than a 9, to tears. Cameron and Edyta, fellow bottom 2 couple of the night to look as though it should of been them who were eliminated. The group rock 'n' roll dance was the encore.
- Week 7: Mel B had the encore performance with her revelaing Paso Doble. Marie Osmond found out that her father had passed away the morning of the results show and did not attend so she could be with her family. Most of the dancers were fake cheetah paw print tatoos to show support for Sabrina & Mark who were eliminated the week before.
- Week 8: Marie dedicated her Rumba to her father though got the lowest score on the judges leaderboard. Helio Castroneves had the encore performance with, what was described Len Goodman, as a banana man Quickstep.
- Week 9: Jennie & Derek performed their Cha-Cha-Cha as the encore and were shockingly eliminated. This left Mel B, Helio Castroneves & Marie Osmond to be in the finals. This was Julianne Hough's and Maksim Chmerkovskiy's second consecutive final appearance, first with Apolo Anton Ohno and Laila Ali, and Jonathan Roberts's first time.
- Week 10: Marie Osmond had a horrid Freestyle in which Bruno Tonioli described as a bit like the Bride of Chucky and the loopiest thing he's ever seen. Helio Castroneves was victorious with this being Julianne Hough's second victory and the first time ever that a champion was not first with the judges on the night of the finals.
