Dancing master

The phrase dancing master may have different meanings:
- The (English) Dancing Master was a dance manual, first published by John Playford in 1651
- "Dancing master" was an early term for a dance teacher, or perhaps a choreographer
- The Compleat Dancing Master was an influential English folk rock record, by Ashley Hutchings, John Kirkpatrick and others, originally released on vinyl in 1974 (re-released on CD in 2002)
- "Dancing Master" is the title of the sixth track of bassist John Entwistle's Too Late the Hero (album), originally released in May, 1981.
