The Dancing Fools were a professional wrestling tag team in World Championship Wrestling comprised of Disco Inferno and Alex Wright. They were also called "Boogie Knights" when the pair teamed up later on.

[edit] History

Disco Inferno and Alex Wright were two wrestlers in World Championship Wrestling that liked to dance before and after (and sometimes during) their matches. They were feuding with each other in 1998 and decided to form a tag team called The Dancing Fools. They were used primarily for comedy and they were joined briefly by Tokyo Magnum, a Japanese wrestler known for his dancing too. They feuded with The Public Enemy but usually found themselves on the receiving end of various maneuvers involving tables. They split up in the fall to wrestle individually in the Cruiserweight division.

Disco and Wright teamed up again in WCW in 2000 as Boogie Knights and won the WCW World Tag Team Championship on a tour of Germany. However, almost immediately after winning the titles Disco suffered an injury. Wright went on to lose the titles with Elix Skipper on the November 20th edition of Monday Nitro, a few days after winning them. The team never really got back together as Wright left the company shortly after, just prior to the company folding.
