Dancin Unlimited

Dancin' Unlimited, originally the "Dance Theater Company of Northern Virginia" and later the "Virginia Jazz Theatre", is a jazz dance company was founded in 1972 by Robert Thoma. The company was accepted into the Northeast Regional Ballet Association in 1974. Marilyn York has been the Artistic Director from 1976. The company focused on theatrical jazz dance concerts and performed jazz dance to the Washington DC metropolitan area.

The Dancin' Unlimited jazz dance company comprises dancers with classical dance training and experience. The repertoire ranges from classical jazz dance to hip-hop, and from the Big Band era to Broadway jazz dance. It produces and performs in an annual "Jazz and Tap Dance Festival" that showcases regional dance companies, it is now in its twenty-first season.

Entry into Dancin' Unlimited is by audition, generally in the Spring and Fall of each year.
