"Dancin', Shaggin' on the Boulevard" is a song made famous by the country music band Alabama. Released in June 1997, the song peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard magazine Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart on September 20.
The song is one of several in Alabama's catalog paying tribute to their musical heritage. Here, the band reflects on their days of playing in the clubs of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and - according to historian Geoffery Himes - the "R&B-flavored beach music of the Carolinas."
A video was filmed for the song, and has aired on CMT and Great American Country.
