Dana Wortley

Dana Johanna Wortley (born 1959 in Adelaide), Australian politician, is a Labor Senator for South Australia.
Before entering politics Wortley was employed as a school teacher, journalist and representative for the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance. Her first term in the Senate began on July 1, 2005.
She is married to Russell Wortley, former head of the Gas sub-branch of the Transport Workers Union in South Australia, who was elected in 2006 to the South Australian Legislative Council.
Dana Wortley is also a graduate of the University of South Australia, graduating with a BEd (Communication Studies).
They have a son named Che, born in about 1995.
