Dana Howard

Dana Howard is a reporter at KXTV in Sacramento, California and News10 anchor since September 1992. Howard is usually on Sunday evenings solo at 6p.m, and at 11p.m. with co-anchor Jennifer Smith. He also reports from Monday-Thursday in the evening newscasts.
Dana Howard was born on April 30th, 1958 (Age 50) in Los Angeles, California. Before joining News10 in late 1992, he worked at WWL-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana from 1988-1992 and at KHSL-TV in Chico, California from 1985-1988, and an Assignment Editor at KPIX CBS 5 News in San Francisco. In his more than 20 years of working in broadcast news, Dana has won multiple Emmy Awards and Associated Press Awards along with Best of the West, New Orleans Press Club and RTNDA.
Dana graduated at the University of the Pacific in Stockon in 1980 with a degree in Biology and Communications and has two children, Dana currently lives in Elk Grove, California with his wife. You can contact Dana through dhoward@news10.net
