From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dana Hanna, also known as the 'Software Jedi', is a software developer from Maryland in the United States.

Dana is the creator of the "An App A Day" project, the goal of which was to develop a new software application suggested by users and readers of his website at a rate of one per day for thirty days. He ultimately succeeded in this goal, and encouraged fellow application developers to follow in his footsteps with challenges of their own.

Dana's work on "An App A Day" led to an interview on the popular Internet television show Hak.5 approximately halfway through the project, contributing to his cause.

Dana now works on a project called "An App A Week"; this project is meant to build upon new ideas in addition to applications released during the daily version of his challenge.
