Daniel "Dan" Frank Barron-Sullivan was born June 9, 1960 in Kuching, Sarawak. He has been a Liberal member and an independent member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly representing the electorate of Mitchell now known as the electorate of Leschenault since December 1996.[1] For four years, under the Colin Barnett, Sullivan was deputy leader[2] of the Liberal Party in Western Australia from 2004 to 2008.
Sullivan quit the Liberal Party in 2008 after losing his seat in an electoral redistribution and expressed dissatisfaction with current Liberal party leader Troy Buswell.[3]
