Dan Stains born in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia is a former Australian rugby league football player for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. He played as a second-row, prop forward and as a hooker.

He played for Halifax and captained Cronulla.[1] He has also represented Australia and Queensland State of Origin.

He has previously been coach at Super League clubs Bradford Bulls and London Broncos.
