Dan O’Brien (born November 23, 1947 in Findlay, Ohio) is a cattleman – through his Wild Idea Buffalo Company – and an author. His autobiography, Buffalo for The Broken Heart – titled from his ranch in the Black Hills, South Dakota, The Broken Heart – is his eighth book.
