Dan Murray is a defender and the current captain of Cork City FC.
Dan signed for Cork City FC on loan in 2002 under ex manager Liam Murphy. One year later Dan signed permanently for the Rebel Army. Dan has been a superb Captain and role model in his time on Leeside with vital European goals against Malmo FF (Intertoto Cup 2004) and Apollon Limassol (Champions League 2006). In 2005 Dan was the captain of the superb Eircom League Championship winning team that won the title on the last day against Derry City FC (2-0).
