Dan Mishkin is a comic book writer, and co-creator of DC Comics characters Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld and Blue Devil. Both series used fantasy elements in ironic and often thought-provoking ways. Among other chores, he had a run on Wonder Woman from 1982 through 1985. More recently he has worked with artist Tom Mandrake on the short lived series Creeps and on the children's book The Forest King: Woodlark's Shadow.
