Dan Lobb

Dan Lobb is a British television sports presenter and a former tennis champion. He is currently a presenter for Sky Sports.
Lobb grew up just outside Winchester, Hampshire. He attended school and college near home before accepting a tennis scholarship to the University of Tennessee in the USA. He was named as an All-American (for tennis) and graduated from the school of Business with high honours. After coaching at various tennis clubs in London, Lobb played professionally for three years reaching a British ranking of 18 in 1997. After retiring in 1998 he combined coaching and modelling for three years as well as getting involved in sports PR and marketing in London.
In 2001 Lobb started part-time work at a local cable station assisting the sports producer before being given the opportunity to present a live show. From there he moved on to Channel 5 News and was then offered a contract by Sky Sports in January 2002. He has been there ever since presenting mostly on Sky Sports News.
Lobb lives in West London, counts golf as his favourite pastime and still plays tennis every now and again. At 7:01 GMT 6 January, 2008, he declared "I'm in love" on Sky Sports' TV show Good Morning Sports Fans while staring at the FA Cup trophy.
Lobb has recently become a minor celebrity for his unusual name. Slang terms such as "Lobb Off" and "I love a bit of Lobb" can be credited to Lobb. Also the joke 'What is Dan Lobb's favourite food' Answer: 'Lobster' has become a cult hit among virals. His nickname on Sky Sports News and Soccer AM has been revealed as 'Lazy', as in, 'Lazy Lobb,'or 'the lobster' as in a lobster.
In October 2007, he began presenting The Club on Sky Poker, a humorous magazine show based around Poker. He presents with Matt Broughton
