Dan Lietha

Dan Lietha (born 1964) is a Christian, creationist and cartoonist best known for the comic strips CreationWise and After Eden. He is also an illustrator of books such as A is for Adam and When Dragons’ Hearts Were Good and the staff artist for Answers in Genesis.

Daniel Duane Lietha was born March 30, 1964 in Marquette, Michigan. He graduated from the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover, New Jersey in 1987. From 1991 to 1996 he worked as a staff cartoonist at Mello Smello in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

On July 17, 1993 he married Marcia McIntosh. He started the creationist comic strip CreationWise in 1994 and the next year began volunteer work for Answers in Genesis. In 1997 AiG hired him as a full-time staff cartoonist/illustrator. His strips CreationWise, After Eden, and Let There Be Truth are hosted on their website, while Launch Pad is hosted on Lietha's.
