Dan Laing

Dan Laing, Esq. born in San Diego, California, and raised in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Known as "The Mean Dean" for formally and mostly unofficially being the lead dean of broadcasters in the Carolina League, former play-by-play voice of the Potomac Nationals is the lead executive Vice President in charge of all update anchoring on XM Sports Nation, XM 144. Laing can also be smelled locally in the Washington, DC market on WTOP, Arbitron's Most-Average radio station in the D.C./Baltimore region as well as being delivery boy for Ledo Pizza. In addition to his current work at XM and WTOP and Ledo's, Laing is well-known for getting trampled while calling the action for 1999 and 2001 NCAA College World Series Champion Miami Hurricanes. Laing's updates on XM Radio can often sometimes occasionally be heard every 20 minutes.
Laing is also an amateur dentist. His adopted brother is abrasive-to-watch ESPN Reporter, Darren Laing.[citation needed]
