Dan Gardiner is a 17 year old athlete from Leeds, West Yorkshire. He started his career at the age of 8 taking part in small scale athletics competitions. He whent on to take his hobby up into a career path and found himself a trainer. From then on he has been successful in the British Triathlon events and has won a number of awards and medals.[specify] Now, at the age of 17, he is officially "Britains Fastest Man 2007",[cite this quote] he has also been nicknamed the "IronMan" and has been rewarded by the crowds through chants such as "God Speed Danny!"
