Dan Finnerty

Dan Finnerty (b. 1970, Rochester, New York) is an American stage and film actor.
Finnerty grew up in the small town of Bath, New York and attended Emerson College in Boston. He was a member of the hit off-Broadway show Stomp in New York City.
On August 8, 1998 he married actress Kathy Najimy. Gloria Steinem officiated the cermony. The couple have one daughter.
He created and is the lead singer of the cult hit group The Dan Band. His Los Angeles show, Dan Finnerty & The Dan Band: I Am Woman, was filmed as a one hour concert special, directed by McG and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. It aired on Cable TV's Bravo channel.
Spielberg cast him in The Terminal, and Todd Phillips cast him as the sleazy Bat Mitzvah singer in the film version of Starsky & Hutch.
Finnerty is best known for his foul-mouthed rendition of Total Eclipse of the Heart as the wedding singer at Will Ferrell's wedding in the movie Old School, also directed by Todd Phillips.
Finnerty's band has 2 CDs - The Dan Band Live, and "HO - A Dan Band Christmas"
