Dan DelMain is an American bagpiper and instructor. He is a winner of several solo competitions and a member of a World Championship winning pipe band.
DelMain is a Grade 2 bagpiper and plays in the Portland Metro Pipe Band, which was formed in 2006 under the direction of Mark Tommasetti. In 2007, they competed in several Highland Games Competitions, achieving a 2nd place at the Seattle Highland Games. He also instructs the local Portland bagpipe band, the Sir James McDonald Pipe Band. His achievements noted at Portland Bagpiper include winning the World Pipe Band Championships in Grade 3 with the Prince Charles Pipe Band in 2003 and winning several solo competitions at various Highland Games recognized by the British Columbia Pipers Association. He also used to live with bagpiper, Travis Dutton, whom recently transplanted to Tacoma.
