Dan D (Slovene D-Day) is a Slovene rock band that was formed in 1996 in Lower Carniola, Slovenia from remnants of previous group Mercedes band (formed in 1991) by Tomislav Jovanovič - Tokac and Dušan Obradinovič - Obra who have invited three experienced musicians Marko Turk - Tučo , Primož Špelko, and Aleš Bartelj.
In March 2007 the Dan D together with Siddharta as "Dandarta" in concert hall Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana during the ceremony of Viktor Award 2007 have presented a symbiosis of two songs, radio hit Voda (Water), and new Siddharta's single Male roke (Small hands). A song was recorded in a modern studio RSL in Novo Mesto. The next day groups appeared in a TV show TLP of Slovene Radio-Television National Station's programme TV Slovenija 1.
