Daniel Price Cody (born December 1, 1981 in Ada, Oklahoma) is an American football linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. he was originally drafted by the Ravens in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oklahoma.

Cody won the MVP in high school his freshman, sophomore, junior and senior year, although he attend two different high schools: Coalgate High School in Coalgate, Oklahoma freshman/sophomore years and Ada High School in Ada junior/senior years.

While at Oklahoma in a game against Texas A&M University Cody used a little too much energy while in the huddle to pump his teammates up. When all his teammates left the huddle he collapsed from fatigue however he was able to get on the field. He was examined by team doctors and was claimed that he just had the wind knocked out of him. The Sooners would win the game and advance to the Orange Bowl National Championship against the University of Southern California. He finished his college career playing in 42 games and making 117 tackles and 25 sacks. He was a Sociology major.

Cody was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round (53rd overall) in the 2005 NFL Draft. His rookie season was ended on the first day of training camp with a knee injury. On November 19 2006 Cody played in his first NFL game. He registered one assisted tackle with Trevor Pryce bringing down Warrick Dunn after a 4 yard gain with 12:31 remaining in the 4th quarter and the Ravens up 17-10.

Cody started the 2007 season on the PUP list due to knee injuries and coach Brian Billick has said that he will not take Cody off the list for the rest of the season.
