This is OT - but I don't think figwort actually has any interactions with epinephrine. Can anyone confirm/deny?

[edit] Figwort

As with lots of other natural products, there are a lot of different compounds in figwort. Sadly, I can't manage to find anything useful on ePocrates' Multicheck. But according to wikipedia, Figwort contain iridoids which are mentioned to also have vaso-active effect, thus some interaction with epinephrine could be possible, although probably not as spectacular as in this episode.

Also we may note that tea contains several compound (theine/caffeine, theophylline and theobromine), which have well documented vascular effects and known positive interaction with epinephrine that lead to stronger effects on the hearth (But once again, not as spectacular as in the episode - unless some underlying cardiac condition further amplifies the effect).
