Damned in Black is the sixth album by the Norwegian black metal band, Immortal, and the first album where Iscariah plays the bass, the bassist/vocalist of the band Dead To This World. Abbath's vocals are also atypical of Immortal's usual style on this album, being somewhat deeper and gruffy. Their 2002 "Sons of Northern Darkness" seemed to behold more speed than the "Damned In Black," but is still considered one of the greatest black metal albums of 2006.
