Dammbach is a municipality in the south-eastern part of the district of Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, Germany. It's situated on the western border of the Spessart.
The community emerged 1976 because of the municipal reorganization in Bavaria out of the autonomous communities Wintersbach and Krausenbach. Due to the fact that both districts are located in the Dammbachtal, Dammbach was chosen to be the common place name.
The borough Dammbach is famous for its many hamlets, like Schnorrhof, Hundsrück, Heppe and Geißhöhe. In the last years the community of Dammbach expelled a weekend-recreation-area near the district of Wintersbach, where more than 100 summer cottages were built.
In 1991 the municipality celebrated the festivity "750 years villages in the valley of Dammbach". Against the background of this, Dammbach published the book "Dammbach 1241 - 1991".
