Damir Čakar (born 28 June 1973) is a Montenegrin footballer playing the striker position. He was the captain and leading goalscorer of FK Rudar Pljevlja with 16 goals.

Ten days before the team played their first match in the UEFA Cup first qualifying round against the Cypriot AC Omonia, he decided to leave the club, after stating that he was not satisfied with FK Rudar's ambitions for next season. He had also stated that several other good players from FK Rudar would also leave the club, with no sign of any replacements. He's also contemplating retirement, stating that he is in talks in with several other clubs and would join those clubs only if they had the ambition to win trophies because he wants a challenge. He also stated that if he wasn't satisfied, he will "hang up his boots" and retire.

He is also an expert Freekick and Penalty taker. As well as a Playmaker. [1]
