Damien Tixier (born June 23, 1980 in Nîmes) is a French football defender of Portuguese descent, currently playing for French team Le Havre. He spent most of his career in Portugal before coming back in France with Lens.

Tixier leaving Lens behind

Left-back Damien Tixier has left Lens to sign for Ligue 2 outfit Le Havre. The defender, who turns 27 on Saturday, moved back to France on loan from Portuguese side UD Leiria in January and went on to play six Ligue 1 games and four in the UEFA Cup. [UEFA.com]
