Damian (musician)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Damian Davey (born 30 September 1964, Manchester, United Kingdom) known to many as simply "Damian", was a pop musician and actor during the late 1980s in the UK. He is often known for his cross dressing, wacky style of clothes and his large use of makeup and face paints.

He is probably best known for his 1989 hit "The Time Warp" (remix), a cover version of the original track which was featured in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

His follow up single, "Wig Wam Bam", which also featured the track "Putting It All Behind Me" was a flop, only reaching #49 on the UK Singles Chart, and he ultimately became a one-hit wonder.
