Damastown is the name of two townlands in Dublin, Ireland.

In Fingal Damastown is a townland of the village of Naul previously a small village complete with Catholic Church and national school, the area is now sparsely populated and the land largely used for agriculture.


[edit] Dublin 15

In Dublin 15, Damastown is located just west of Mulhuddart to the north of the N3 road. A 1.8 km (1.1 mi) link road is nearing completion to link Damastown to the Cruiserath Road intersecting Church Road which links Mulhuddart to Tyrrelstown

A temporary recycling centre is to be set up in Damastown to allow for an upgrade to the Coolmine recycling centre.

Companies with premises in the industrial estate include IBM and Gem Pack Foods

There are some brief historical references to Damastown in volume 6 of a series of books called A History of the County Dublin by Francis Elrington Ball published between 1902 and 1920[1].
