Damaris Hayman

Damaris Hayman (born 16 June 1929 in Kensington, London, England) is an actress best known for character roles in various television programmes. She was educated at Cheltenham Ladies' College.
After repertory work in the theatre, Hayman made her film debut in The Belles of St Trinians (1954) in an uncredited role. She remains best known for her role in the Doctor Who serial The Daemons as Miss Hawthorne, the self proclaimed White Witch.
