[edit] Damon Che etc
You seem to know a lot about Damon's various projects. Are you a friend or just a big fan? I went to Penn State with Mike, and sort-of-knew Damon (he'd recognize me and chat at shows, but probably wouldn't remember my name). I was talking to him at the Squirrel Cage one night...I think he had a pretty good buzz on...and he went to his car and grabbed me a free copy of "Songs for the Terrestrially Challenged (hi-fi vinyl version)." I saw him when Don C played at the Casbah in San Diego a few years ago. OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:09, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
It's cool that Damon gave you that record! I would love to see the Canaries live. I've seen Don Cab about six times, plus Bellini and Storm&Stress. I drove to see Don Cab in Detroit in 2000, only to learn that they had been in a van accident and subsequently broke up. I saw the new lineup three years later in Kalamazoo where they packed up after one and a half songs because a skinhead had threatened to shoot Damon. So, in spite of everything, I remain a fan. Check out the Don Cab message board, there's always a good discussion going on there. Mike Banfield contributes as well. Cheers. Dalyzach 02:32, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
