[edit] Speedy deletion for Observer (Software)

The entry is in the same vein as the entries for other Free NMSes, such as Zabbix/Munin/Nagios and the like. While the whole Network Management section seems to be a bit messy, it seemed sensible to create an entry for the application when adding it to lists of NMS software. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamathefrog (talkcontribs) 00:48, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed Speedy deletion of some articles I have created

I notice that a few articles have been tagged. The fact that they are professional rugby players who play at the elite level. Their significance is implied.Londo06 21:34, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

You stated a notability point with a red-link. I assure you I would not need to add hyperbole to pages that satisfy Wikipedia:Notability. The specific link for sports people would best dealt with at Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Athletes.Londo06 22:03, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion for Heinz London

Well, the article is a stub, but even that way it is explained in the article why Heinz London is notable: he is the co-discoverer of the London equations, which was the first explanation to the Meissner effect and, so, to superconductivity.

I saw the German wiki has an article as well, and I though it could be interesting if the English one had one.

Anyway, if you think explaining the properties of superconductors is not enough to be notable, feel free to delete the article. Eynar Oxartum (talk) 21:47, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Khawaja Saad Rafique

I declined speedy deletion on Khawaja Saad Rafique as it had both context and asserted notability. Toddst1 (talk) 22:15, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Stop placing speedy deletion on articles please

The article Eric William Wright is of a notable and successful RAF pilot. It is not finished of yet and i have more to add to the page, in the very near future. If it is deleted i will recreate it again with more details. Please remove the speedy deletion tag Gaia Octavia Agrippa 22:13, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy too fast

While we appreciate your efforts on NPP, I think you're being a bit to overzealous. Eric William Wright was tagged within a minute of its creation which in a good-faith effort, like that appears to be, doesn't make sense. Please note the advice in the first paragraph at WP:NPP#Patrolling new pages. It's applicable here. Toddst1 (talk) 22:27, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mount Baker Station Article contradiction?

I just made the Mount Baker Station (Link station) article and saw that you said it contradicted itself. I couldn't find any instances of contradiction - what was it that you were referring to? Thanks --Alexseattle (talk) 01:22, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll fix that --Alexseattle (talk) 01:30, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Apologies for wrecking that page :P

I apologise..

[edit] David M. Hayes declined speedy

Hello, I declined the speedy of this as a Chevalier is probably notable. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 21:00, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] FG Sirsyed College decline speedy

If you had read the first sentence of this article you would have seen that it is about a school and that therefore deletion for lack of assertion of notability is not possible. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with the criteria for speedy deletion before performing anymore tagging as all you are doing is creating more work for the rest of us. The correct way to deal with this article would have been to apply the relevant maintenance tags and/or submit it for WP:AFD. nancy (talk) 18:48, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Please read WP:CSD

K. Subba Rao was long enough to give the essential. Valid bio stub. speedy declined. Please read WP:CSD and WP:Deletion policy before tagging more articles. DGG (talk) 20:13, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your VandalProof Application

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Daltxn. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. βcommand 04:27, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
