She is still in the house, and therefore, is still classed as a housemate. She is still a housemate until she is officially removed from the house. The Big Brother website is still stating she has not let yet, her picture does not say 'Walked', and it has not been confirmed by any official programs such as Highlights Little Brother, Big Mouth, DR Uncut etc. She has been told to stay until tomorrow, by which time, she may have decided to stay after all. To clarify: she has not left so why say on a supposed factual site that she has.Babygurl1853 18:50, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Apprentice (UK) FAC
I'll remove my opposition to the nomination because as said in my retracted support my disagreement is mainly a structural one. However on reflection, I believe that if the article is to remain with the current sections, these sections should be expanded. With respect to the argument that the sections are this length because there's very little more that could be added, that is the basis for me saying the sections should be merged. If they're expandable, the article could be improved and thus should be. If they're complete, in my opinion they're too short to be sections.
My apologies if I'm coming across as overly critical of what is otherwise a decent article. BeL1EveR 21:05, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
"However" is used throughout, and there is a mixture of spaced endashes and spaced emdashes. Per WP:DASH, spaced emdashes are never used, unspaced emdashes is the preference, and spaced endashes is an alternative. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 16:01, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please be more civil
Dale, I know you are acting in good faith, and care about the articles you contribute to, but could I just ask you to be a little more civil towards other users (especially new ones). I have now twice seen you give warnings for first offences saying the user can be blocked [3] [4], but for the first offence you should use level 1 warnings for new users, or level 2 warnings for other users (which don't mention blocks), as these allow for users not knowing/understanding the rules, rather than trying to break them; being too aggresive may cause the project to loose potentially valuable contributors. If the users then break these then it becomes the time to use level 3 and then level 4 warnings, where notices of potential blocks are acceptable. See WP:WARN for all notices and warnings. Also in the case of User talk:In23065 you shouldn't have reinstated the warning, while it's best practise to archive rather than delete, it's not policy, and a user can delete whatever they want from their talk page (just as you can delete this). As a final point, TYPING LIKE THIS doesn't make what you are saying any more true, it just comes across aggressively. I hope you take this in the way it is meant, as a guidance rather than criticism. Thanks. John Hayestalk 11:38, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:LittlewillieBB.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:LittlewillieBB.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 23:28, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cite templates
Hi, Dale. I've noticed twice now that you've Opposed FACs because they don't use the cite templates for books; that's not a valid oppose. As long as footnotes are consistently formatted, the citing method is not a WP:WIAFA criteria. Many people (myself included) dislike the cite templates because they are so clunky and inconsistent; their use is not a requirement. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:36, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your signature
Hi, could you please remove the link to the FAC review from your signature, it's a very large amount of text to be displayed in addition to the large amount of code required, so can often be longer than some of the comments to which you reply to. It's really frowned upon by our canvassing policy too and by leaving a link to the FAC review on every page you sign, you're likely to upset people. Ideally, your new signature should be a little below 200 characters including spaces. Thanks in advance. Nick 22:42, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ziggy
Dale, if you are going to redirect Ziggy, you need to reach a consensus. Considering that it has now survived two AfDs it would seem that he is notable enough for his own article. Nonetheless if you really want to go ahead with the redirect (effectively deleting his page) you need to place the appropriate templates on the page, and his talk page, suggesting it should be merged, and explain your reasons on the talk page. After a significant amount of time (say at least a week), if consensus is reached to merge, then you make change it to a redirect. Thanks. John Hayes - On Vacationtalk 16:18, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- Just to let you know, you can find the templates you will need at Template:Mergefrom and Template:Mergeto. I will of course oppose the merge for the reasons I gave in the two AfDs.John Hayes - On Vacationtalk 16:23, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability (Reality Television participants)
The procedure for creating a new guideline is to first propose it (as currently tagged) and then gain consensus from a meaningful cross section of contributors. One person can not dictate a new guideline, and it looks lije the only other contributions have been in correcting errors of spelling and formatting. I've retagged this as a proposal, advertised it at the Village Pump, the Notabiltiy and BIO talk pages, and properly included it in the incguide as a proposal. I suggest that you begin the talk page with a justification for the proposal. Few proposals make it to guideline status. Good luck, though I will likely be among the opposition. [edit] The Apprentice Episode Names
Hi Dale, I was just wondering about the episode names in the Apprentice articles. I propose that we get rid of the 'titles' and just go by week numbers. Reason being is that series one has uncitable episode names, series two doesn't have episode names and therefore someone has made them up and for series three they are off the BBC website, not really official. What do you think? I also noticed that at the beginning of each episode the week number is spelt out too, ie. Week Eleven not Week 11. Seaserpent85Talk 17:52, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] No content in Category:2008 in Television
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:2008 in Television, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:2008 in Television has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:2008 in Television, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. [edit] Could you explain something?
I had to split the Weekly Summary of Big Brother 2007 (UK) into Big Brother 2007 (UK) highlights because the main article was 83 KB before the split. Now since this is part of Big Brother 2007 (UK) how do I link the highlights page from other articles besides the main article it is from. I really don't understand the whole "Orphan" page thing and not to be rude it is sorta confusing to me that List of Big Brother 2007 housemates (UK) (which relates to the main Big Brother 2007 UK article) isn't linked to any articles but the main article and it don't display this message. My point is the only related article I can see that is related to Big Brother 2007 (UK) highlights is Big Brother 2007 (UK) and really isn't orphaned to me. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 17:30, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of various Big Brother contestants
Dale, in relation to the AfD/merge proposals on Brian Belo and Charley Kazim Uchea, you have stated things like "notable per WP:N" or "WP:BLP1E does not apply". I would suggest that these policies say nothing of the sort, but I would welcome your input in those discussions to explain how you feel these policies are met. If it can be shown that they are notable after all I would be happy to support keeping them, but as far as I can tell, from reading these policies that neither are notable enough, at this moment in time, for an article outside of the Big Brother article. [edit] Image source problem with Image:Badgerorbustlogo.JPG
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Badgerorbustlogo.JPG. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. [edit] Image source problem with Image:Girlsteam.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Girlsteam.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear.
Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:28, 6 December 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr If you've written a quality article... 18:28, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Daily star 18 05 2007.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Daily star 18 05 2007.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:43, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Katie Apprentice.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Katie Apprentice.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:31, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:Episodeapp
A tag has been placed on Template:Episodeapp requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes.
Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 04:29, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Sun front.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sun front.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Justmeherenow (talk) 05:26, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Badgerorbustlogo.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Badgerorbustlogo.JPG. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 18:29, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Katiehopkins.JPG
Thank you for uploading Image:Katiehopkins.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by an adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Million_Moments (talk) 17:13, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
