In actuality, Dale Mabry Hwy carries a total of four designations. From south to north; the road is signed as FL SR 573 (from MacDill AFB to Gandy Blvd), US 92/FL SR 600 (from Gandy Blvd to Hillsborough Ave), FL SR 580 (from Hillsborough Ave to Busch Blvd), and FL SR 597 (from Busch Blvd to US 41). I have added a list of the designations to the article. Wslupecki 19:47, 24 July 2006 (UTC).
Because of the multiple designations that Dale Mabry Highway carries, I have relocated the SR-597 shield to the "Designations" section and added the other respective shields to the section as well. Wslupecki 02:10, 12 August 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Merging State Road 573 (Florida) with this article
I think this proposed merger makes a lot of sense, since that FL-573 is part of Dale Mabry Hwy and that the article would not be able to be expanded enough to be a stand-alone article. Wslupecki 12:09, 19 August 2006 (UTC).

Has anybody here seen the infobox for the New York State Thruway? It has multiple shields in the top. Perhaps something like this would be good for Dale Mabry as well. Just a thought. DanTD 23:59, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

I saw you resized the signs, and I cleared my cache, cookies, and everything else I could think of, and yet those you resized still aren't appearing, TMF. As you may have noticed, I have added some insight into each major section of Dale Mabry Hwy (listed under the "designations" section. However, this list will need substantial updating as I do not know the scene on Dale Mabry through Carrollwood, since I do not visit the Carrollwood area often. I also added info and a reference regarding the former Jai Alai fronton in South Tampa, as it was a prominent facility in the area for years. However, I also forgot to mention that I got rid of the "Junctions with other major roads" section, as it is no longer needed due to the new infobox, which lists more major junctions than just the old list alone.
